About this product
The Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus with Smart Home Power Kit is a whole-home backup power solution built around a 3,840 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, a chemistry known for long cycle life and stable thermal performance. It delivers 3,200 watts of continuous AC output with a 9,000-watt surge capacity, and its pure sine wave inverter ensures compatibility with sensitive electronics. A 20-millisecond UPS switchover keeps critical loads running through outages with virtually no interruption. Solar charging tops out at 3,200 watts via dual MPPT controllers that accept a wide 11 to 165-volt input range, while AC recharging runs at up to 1,800 watts. The system also supports 240V gas generator passthrough up to 6,000 watts for added flexibility. Output options include 12V DC and 100-watt USB-C Power Delivery ports alongside standard AC outlets. The expandable design allows capacity to grow over time, and the kit is backed by a five-year warranty.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus Smart Home Power Kit for its near-instant power transfer during outages (as fast as 20ms in UPS mode), its impressive 6,000W output with true 120V/240V split-phase capability, and its broad scalability from 3.84kWh up to 53.8kWh. The significantly upgraded 3,200W solar input (up from 2,400W on the prior model) and compatibility with gas generators are frequently highlighted as meaningful improvements. App-based monitoring, quiet operation under light loads, and a solid 5-year warranty also draw consistent praise. The most common criticism is the steep upfront cost, which reviewers note can rival a used car for a full installation. Others point out that the base battery capacity depletes quickly under sustained whole-home loads, and that additional accessories are needed for full solar or home-panel functionality.
