About this product
The Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus is a home backup power station built around a 3,584Wh LiFePO4 battery that can be expanded up to 21kWh for extended coverage. Its 3,600W output supports a wide range of 120V household appliances, including refrigerators, portable air conditioners, and coffee makers, while pairing two units unlocks 240V output for larger loads such as well pumps and dryers. The EV-grade lithium iron phosphate cells are rated for 6,000 charge cycles, translating to roughly 16 years of reliable use at an estimated cost of 30 cents per day. Runtime ranges from approximately 15 hours to 9 days depending on load and capacity configuration. Operating noise sits at just 30dB, quiet enough for continuous indoor or overnight use. Mobility is handled by integrated wheels and a pull handle, making repositioning straightforward. A 5-year warranty is included, and setup requires no special installation.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus for its real-world reliability during power outages, with expert testing confirming it can run a refrigerator, furnace, and critical electronics through extended outages even in extreme cold. The LiFePO4 battery chemistry, quiet operation compared to gas generators, and the wheeled luggage-style design for portability are frequently highlighted strengths. Inverter efficiency and fast AC charging (around 2.5 hours) also earn consistent approval. The most common complaints center on the weight (reported variously between 77 and 148 lbs depending on configuration), solar panel cables being too short, slower-than-expected solar charging on cloudy days, and occasional compatibility issues with transfer switches. A small number of users received defective units, and some noted customer service response times could be slow.
