About this product
The Jackery HomePower 1000 v2 is a portable power station designed for home backup, combining a 1024Wh capacity with a 1500W output and a sub-10ms switchover time, making it a capable alternative to a traditional UPS for keeping computers and other sensitive equipment running during outages. Built-in lightning protection and 3kV surge resistance guard both the unit and connected devices against voltage spikes and sudden restarts. The Priority Routing feature lets users designate which devices receive power first, automatically cutting off lower-priority loads when the battery reaches a user-defined threshold so that essentials like a refrigerator or router stay on longer. The battery supports 6,000 or more charge cycles, translating to more than 16 years of daily use. Recharging takes under 50 minutes, and the unit operates at below 30dB, keeping noise levels low enough for office work or overnight use.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Jackery HomePower 1000 v2 for its sub-10ms UPS switchover, which keeps computers, routers, and sensitive devices running seamlessly during outages without so much as a flicker. Its compact size (under 24 lbs), fast 50-minute wall recharge, 6,000-cycle LiFePO4 battery, and 3kV surge protection are frequently highlighted as standout features. The intuitive app and multiple port options also earn positive marks. The most common criticism is that the 1,024Wh capacity is fixed with no expansion option, limiting runtime under heavier loads to just a few hours. Reviewers also note the price is higher than competing units with similar or greater output, and some users flag the cooling fan as noticeably loud during sustained use.
