About this product

The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is a portable power station built around a 1070Wh capacity and a 1500W continuous AC output, which represents a 50% power boost over its predecessor. Two AC outlets handle household-level loads, while USB-C ports deliver up to 100W via dual Power Delivery charging, making it practical for laptops, cameras, and other demanding devices alongside USB-A accessories. The unit incorporates Jackery's second-generation ChargeShield technology, covering 62 distinct protection protocols to safeguard both the station and connected equipment. A standout feature is its emergency fast-charge mode, which can bring the battery from zero to full in approximately one hour. The Explorer 1000 v2 is not expandable with external battery packs, keeping the design self-contained and straightforward. It carries a standard 3-year warranty, with an additional 2-year extended warranty available under qualifying purchase conditions, bringing potential coverage to 5 years total.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 for its dramatically faster charging (roughly one hour via the app's emergency mode, compared to over seven hours on the original), its upgraded LiFePO4 battery chemistry rated for 4,000 cycles, and a 1,500W AC output that is 50% higher than its predecessor. The compact, foldable-handle design earns frequent compliments for portability at its capacity class, and the 100W USB-C port is highlighted as a practical addition for laptops. The most common criticisms are the capped 400W solar input rate (lower than some rivals), the unit's non-weatherproof build, and a recurring perception that Jackery products are overpriced relative to competitors with higher continuous output. Some forum users also flag the use of proprietary solar connectors as a limitation.
